After Payment - Before Shipping

- Cancellation requests must be made through the platform
- Processing time: 5-7 business days for refund
After Shipping
- Cancellation requests are treated as return requests

3. How to Cancel an Order
Buyer Cancellation
- Log in to your Campus Thrift account
- Go to "My Orders" in your dashboard
- Find the order you wish to cancel
- Click "Cancel Order" and provide a reason

Seller Cancellation
- Contact the buyer through our messaging system
- Explain the reason for cancellation
- Initiate refund through the platform
- Update order status to cancelled
Platform Cancellation
Campus Thrift reserves the right to cancel orders that violate our terms and conditions, involve prohibited items, or are suspected of fraudulent activity.
4. Cancellation Fees
No Fees
- Cancellations before payment
- Cancellations within 24 hours after payment
- Cancellations due to seller error
- Cancellations due to item unavailability
Potential Fees
- Platform processing fees (5% of transaction value)
- Payment gateway charges (may be deducted)
- Shipping costs (if item was shipped)
- Restocking fees (for certain categories)
5. Refund Processing
Approved cancellations will be processed according to our refund timeline:
- Online Payments: 5-7 business days
- Cash on Delivery: Immediate (order marked as cancelled)
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Partial Refunds: Processed within same timeframe
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed.
6. Special Circumstances
Custom Orders
- Cannot be cancelled once production begins
- Deposit amounts may be non-refundable
